High Wycombe is a large town in Buckinghamshire, England.
Originating as a mill town, High Wycombe has also produced renowned paper and furniture industries.
The town centre, which has recently undergone a large redevelopment, has two shopping centres and a university. Popular local landmarks include a statue of a red lion and the fountain in Frogmoor Square, while another attraction is Hughenden Manor, a Regency period mansion and one-time home to Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli.
High Wycombe is also home to all commands of the Royal Air Force, and is the only place in the world that weighs its Mayors – a traditional ceremony of the town since the medieval period.
